Seventh Annual Florida Keys Ocean Festival & Waterfront Craft Show

Presented by Florida-based Mote Marine Laboratory, the annual event features a kids' fishing seminar, touch tanks and live animals, educational activities, a planned art auction, marine-themed games, refreshments, food and local vendors. The show is set to take place at the Florida Keys Eco-Discovery Center on Truman Waterfront, and celebrates the treasured Keys waters and environment.

35th Annual 7 Mile Bridge Run
A field of 1,500 runners participate in the annual foot race across the longest of the 43 bridges that help comprise the Florida Keys Overseas Highway. Sponsored by the Marathon Runners Club.

21st Annual Taste of Key West
The 21st Annual Taste of Key West will be held from 6 to 9 p.m., Monday, April 18th, 2016 on the Truman Waterfront Pier at the end of Southard Street as a benefit for AIDS Help. During the three-hour event, foodies can stroll a horseshoe of edibles, savory and sweet, along the Waterfront, from appetizers and main course bites to sinfully-rich desserts. Over 50 participating restaurants give us their time, staffs and product...chefs create gourmet bites of Keys cuisine...vintages from 100 wineries and vineyards are provided by the Republic National Distributing Company.
